Concorde, why didn't it come back.
After what happen, they could not redesign the problems?

Bottom line, it was not cost effective. Plus, you can only go supersonic overwater to avoid pissing people off with the sonic boom.
Also, from an avionics perspective, it had an ancient cockpit that still required a flight engineer to calculate fuel consuption etc.

That's just incredible! Never realized its that loud. The Concorde didn't stop so much because of the crash but the fact that it was nearing its end of life, parts were getting expensive, and it was the right time. But yea British Airways are looking at the engines on one of their Concordes to see about their flight worthiness to at least do a flyover at the Olympics if not a few legacy flights.
