I don't think I could think of a more terrifying situation. Key was, they seemed to keep a level head.

Being in flight school, I see a lot of these kind of videos. This one to me is by far the scariest I've ever seen

@boostedM: Wow! they got really lucky. This is why I don't take chances and always ask for traffic advisories, granted sometimes they might be sleeping but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Awsome! Yet another example of a civil aircraft droning into a military restricted area.

Yeah, and flight following is your friend when you can get it. I also do everything I can to avoid MOAs and MTRs. Even though they are supposed to suspend operations in active MOAs when GA aircraft enter, stuff still slips through the system. Fractions of seconds was the difference between life and death in the video I posted. They couldn't have been more than 50 feet apart.

Yeah there is a Military Operations Area adjacent to some Restricted airspace on the way to Vegas from the L.A. area which I will never go through. Even though you can fly through a MOA it's just not worth it if you are vfr imo. Take a look at this one where two GA aircraft got chased around by an F16. Some guys are just stupid, it's hard to understand why they'd be given a license to fly.

Try to not tear this student pilot apart but I must have missed something. Where the ga pilots in restricted airspace already when the f16 was messing with them?
