History

Service: (During my ownership the car was in care of Zach @ Mercedes-Benz of Tysons Corner, VA

12/02/2011 – Virginia State Inspection – Passed – Sticked good till 12/12
11/29/2010 – 28 point inspection @ M-B of Tysons Corner (Clean bill of health after all the bulbs were changed for good measure; only one was out, but the bulbs come in pairs and my M-B tech loves me.)
05/06/2011 – 61,832 miles - Complete Street+ Alignment when I mounted the SL65 wheels on @ M-B Tysons

Bought the car with 58,000 miles in Nov ’10.

Oil changed week of purchase & March 22nd, 2011 @ 61k miles.

Always with Mobil 1 0W-40 as Mercedes and AMG advise.

I am the 3rd owner of this car, it has always been locally (Northern Virginia) owned and serviced.

This car has been a blast to own. This is my second Mercedes-Benz C-AMG. My first was a 1999 C43 AMG that I owned for just over a year before selling it to get this C55.

I am in no rush to sell, it is currently sitting in a climate controlled garage next to my BMW M3.

Reason for selling: I’d like to move up in the AMG game either to the sensible W204 C63 AMG w/ 030 Package, or a ridiculous W215 CL65 AMG.

Tested faster than: 350Z / 370Z / E36 M3 / E46 M3 / 997 Porsche Carrera S 3.8L / Boxster S 3.2 / Cayman 2.8 / Challenger STR8 < Professional driver on a closed course! :-D >

Dyno Results: 311 wheel.hp & 316 wheel.trq after custom tune by Jerry@Eurocharged on a DynoJet @ Moore Automotive and Performance – 9776 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA for the EuroCharged Summer 2011 Dyno Day.

Warranty: Inactive but Available through 3rd party, I have the paperwork if you want to sign up for it. I would have gotten one but it’s a N/A 55 motor with 67k miles, this thing is bulletproof and won’t even hiccup for another 100k miles.

Issues with car: 67,xxx miles weren’t friendly to the windshield + fog light covers + drivers side lower valence/air dam corner paint. Everything else is on point.

eBay & craigslist ads relisted yesterday:

As usual, she is sitting pretty, warm and dry in the garage.

Been driving the M3 lately, loving these new Continental ExtremeContact DWS as well as my coilover balance and track alignment! Car is so neutral! Even in rainy/freezing conditions.

Taking the C55 out for a stroll through the town center later because it's beautiful outside today.

I just got back from Mercedes-Benz of Tysons Corner where I dropped off the C55 with my tech to get her B Service done. The service light just came on this week so I'm having it done before letting her go.

In the interest of full disclosure I have attached:

- B Service Maintenance Checklist from Mercedes for the C55
http://brusan.us/gallery/SvcB1.pdf
http://brusan.us/gallery/SvcB2.pdf
http://brusan.us/gallery/SvcB3.pdf

- 28 Point Inspection I had done on the car 1/18/2012
http://brusan.us/gallery/28point inspection.pdf

- This C55's Vehicle Master Inquiry (This is the Mercedes Log for the car detailing every option and service history.)
http://brusan.us/gallery/C55 VMI.pdf

I got a sweet little 2012 C250 Turbo with 1,880 miles on it as a loaner for the day, it's getting me excited at the idea of a C63.

I also had them do a 28-point inspection so that you could see the results, the car is in great shape.

Nitto Invo's come with 10/32" Tread new, both the front tires are at 80% and the rears are both around the 50% mark.

Tire Tread Wear From 10/32": (Fronts: 8/32", Rears: 5/32") as of this morning 1/18/2012.

These tires are great by the way, I'm very happy with them.

Also, another thing that might stand out on the Service Report Card (28-point inspection) is the No Cats! but if you read my ad you'd see that the car has Kleeman long tube headers and Kleeman downpipes. Thus eliminating cats. The car is registered at my business in a non-emission county so I've never had an issue with this fact. Plus the car has the Kleeman ECU-Cat-Code-Out, so no CEL!

I've been pulled over twice in this car and neither of the officers mentioned anything about the exhaust. Just sayin'.

Also, the front pads are just under 50% life remaining, this doesn't really affect their performance, it should just be noted that they will need to be changed in the next 10,000 miles or so. StopTech pads are only $80 for the front axle set, so whenever you feel like changing them it won't hurt your wallet much.

Most people who'd be interested in this car are enthusiasts who can deal with all these facts in one way or another without issue, I just felt the need to share as much information as I could about the car.

I have pictures of the car in the service bay etc... but I think I've posted enough. (Too lazy to host/post right now.)

If anyone would like to speak to my S.A. at Mercedes PM me and I will shoot you his contact information so you can ask him whatever you want directly.

TL;DR: On 1/18/2012 the car got B Service done @ Mercedes Dealership: Oil/Filter Change, Cabin Filter, Fuel System Cleaned, Fluids Topped Off, B Service Inspection + 28-point inspection.

People who contact OP's about For Sale ads generally ask questions whose answers were stated in the original For Sale ad/thread. I don't like to waste my time repeating myself so I try to be as clear and as informative as I can the first time around.

I believe an excellent car for sale deserves an excellent next owner, and that owner deserves to know as much about the car as they possibly could in order to make an educated acquisition.

Are you colorblind, by any chance?
I'm really wondering what you meant by this post. The link you posted brings you to a page that has details of a C55 yet a pictures of a red C63... If you are accusing Ramin09 of being colorblind due to that, then I would like to accuse you of being plain old blind for not seeing the difference between a C63 and a C55. (I hope I've made an erroneous assumption because otherwise you'll probably feel dumb for trolling and I wouldn't wish that upon any being on this earth as it is the lowest form of life one can be.)

AWESOME! Thank you for that post, I'm glad I can finally put a face to the name of the person who has filled my AMG experience with magic and gold.

Its ok, I dont understand why people troll on for sale ads...I was merely stating that this car for sale is a better value than the one you posted (yes its red....congrats for pointing that out). Lol, its cool I dont get offended, just if you compare the cars....this is meticulously maintained and has very desirable (OEM) modifications. Good Luck!

No worries, it certainly is bizarre.

Thank you for the kind words.

She's sitting warm and cozy in the heated detached garage alongside a few other collectibles.

I've been getting a kick out of the new handling adjustments on the M3 and just rolled over 87,000 miles last night as a result. Memorable miles. :naughty:

I'm also hosting the ad over at: Cars for Sale | Primo-Lifestyle (Check us out at: facebook.com/PrimoLifestyle .)

Check out tons of extra info and what other people are saying about the car :

If for whatever reason you want to see me put the eBay ad (Free Autocheck) or the craigslist ad (Anonymity,) just PM me.

Otherwise if you look through the ad and some of the comments and compliments I think you'll know enough about the car.

I realize that it is a lot to read, but if you are truly interested in the car you will probably appreciate it.
