    Default Please school me on Volvos…

    So I was researching some family friendly used mid-sized commuter cars for my wife when I noticed that the 2010 Volvo S80’s (3.2) are around $20k+ with 100k warranties and 28 mpg. To top it off, they look pretty cool…

    I have ZERO experience with Volvos…but these look “cooler” than 2010 Sonatas, Camrys, Accords, etc.

    Besides requiring 91 octane, what else should I know about these things? Thanks in advance for your help!

    The s80 is a bad ass car! I love mine. Its not your regular volvo ; ) These pics are old. Mods that were done is a drop, painted the roof and front grill glossy black, 19 inch forge star wheels, evolve trunk spoiler, tinted windows, debadged and hids. Now im have the stock wheels painted black. No more 19s. Old pics. Yeap thats my volvo ; )

    I was a assistant service manager for a Volvo dealer for almost 7 years. Ther newer S80's are really nice cars and pretty much trouble free. I would try to find a used one with a CPO warranty. The Volvo CPO warranty is one of the best in business it covers ALMOST everything. They are very safe and comfortable cars. Feel free to PM me with any questions. I have a good friend that is a Sales Manager at Galpin Volvo if they have a car there you like let me know. I'll get you in touch with him.
