Default Wrecked Ferrari: What Would You Do?

    Just saw this wrecked/salvaged 360:

    Cars for Sale: 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena in Stanton, CA 90680: Coupe Details - 298174601 - AutoTrader.com

Assuming the engine, trans, and rear-end still work just fine…what would you do with this thing???

I think it would be to cost prohibitive and/or not worth to restore this thing back to its original condition with the salvaged title and all.

So a couple of thoughts I had:

    - Strip this thing down and make a an Ariel Atom style track toy

    - Take the engine, trans, and rear-end and create a Ferrari inspired hot rod like this guy:

Assuming engine/drivetrain were intact, I would replace all the panels with carbon fiber race components and build an SCCA track car. Your own sort of Ferrari Challenge Race car if you will

Parting it out may be profitable especially if you're will to market/ship parts overseas (particularly Asia).

I just looked up pieces very quickly and I can probably get it restored for as low as 15 or I approximated as high as 25,000. Since I'm into restoring cars as a pass time I'd probably do that.

Not worth it. Generally a salvage would be 50% or less of a clean title car. Add the cost of the repair and purchase together, double it and you'll be over current asking prices for a similar vehicle.
