Suggestions for auto transporter?
I'm looking for a new transporter to use regularly to move about a dozen+ or so cars a month...picked up from all over the country, and delivered to northern CA. I'd ideally like to use someone who is reliable and careful, as that's a bit more important to me right now than just price or speed (after the previous company I'd been using scratched and lost some parts from a few of my cars recently, and their insurance wouldn't cover any of it). I'd like to stick to open-car transport companies because most of the cars are going to be under $60K, but I would like to deal with a company that I can grow with in terms of handling more cars per month, as well as doing enclosed moves for some higher-end cars later on...
So does anyone have any companies (brokers or carriers or what have you) they have had good experiences with that they could recommend given these parameters?

JP Logistics... haven't personally used them but they would be my first choice from what I've heard. They are also the official transporter of many many car events, Gold Rush and one of the other "rallies" Gumball I think it was... I've only heard great things about them. They are a supporter/sponsor on this site you can see their link on the right shoulder of this site>>>>>>>>>>>> Near the bottom White semi truck with red writing JP Logistics and Motorsport.
As for open car transport I'm not sure if they offer that, I'm sure they will have a solution for you. If not looks like you'll be contacting a "hotshotter" Usually a 1ton+ Ford, Chev or Dodge with a 3-7 car trailer.

Thanks for the suggestion...JP was the first place I thought of because of this forum, and I tried to contact them via email and PM, but got no reply. That does raise another concern I have: since I'm in and out of the country, I need to find a company that is receptive to dealing via email/online. So that probably also rules out the smaller onesie-twosie carriers.

JP is one of the best in the business they return calls same day no matter what time. We transfer all our personal cars with them and also they are the official transport for goldRush Rally. I just placed a call and left a message for George. He will be here momentarily.

Definitely JP. My new G made it from San Diego to Miami in great shape. No complaints with communication.

I would recommend Reliable Carriers. You could shoot me a pm and I could give you a name of someone to talk to or you could just call their Canton office. They have almost 400 trucks across the country and 5 million in insurance so should have no problem helping you move your automobiles.

Like others have already said, I must restate: JP Logistics hands down. I've worked with them closely when I was filming and shooting for them and have seen how they deal with clients and their cars, I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone else. My last client that deals with modified exotics switched from another well known transporter to JP after my recommendation and they haven't looked back.
Definitely give them a shot.
