Default Need a new car. What would you buy?

    Hey guys,

The Lotus (Supercharged '06 Exige) is gone and I've been driving my Mustang around again. (98 Cobra, 5.4 transplant, ported 01 Cobra heads, Australian Boss 290 imported intake, blah, blah, blah)

    Lotus:

    The Mustang:

As much as it's cool for the occasional trip around town, it's just not doing it for me as a daily.

So, if you were in a position in which you needed another car, what would you look at?

    Parameters:
I'm looking to be under $50k, new or used, but after 10 years in the Retail Automotive Industry I generally look to steal low mile pre-owneds so I can flip them after a year or so. (My last few cars have come and gone at almost exactly 1 year intervals of ownership.)

    Thoughts?

    Alan

Depends on what qualities you are looking for, what are your needs? If I needed a daily driver I'd grab a 328xi wagon with some M Sport goodies and call it a day.

I started the thread to get a conversation going, plus I thought it'd give me a few ideas I may not have considered.

I'm not sure I'm ready to get back behind the wheel of another Bimmer. I had an 06 M5 that was great, but the dealer experience left a lot to be desired.

What do you guys think of the CTS V coupe?

They have a crazy lease on them now. (like $2k @ signing, under 800 a month w/15k miles per year.)

If you don't need to use it for hauling, etc I would get an E9X M3. Powerful, sporty, looks, etc...

I just picked up a Jeep SRT8 and it's great for daily duty, but hauls ass (and people) if you need it to

CTS-V Wagon. There are a few members that have them and they seem to be very well received.
