I see this thread hasn't been posted in over a year.

I feel I should post my experience with John Rhee, CEO of Black Diamond Group.

On October 18,2012 I purchased the "shop" car of Black Diamond from John, a 2010 MB S550 Black bison edition. I paid for the vehicle in Chase cashiers checks, John was here in LV at my local branch, we got them from my personal banker. Fast forward a few weeks later, no title to the vehicle yet. John says MB financial won't take the cashiers check from me, returns it, asks for a personal check. I agree (big mistake on my part). FF weeks later again, no title. I begin pressuring John, I get the "I'm out of town", "it'll be in the mail tomorrow" etc. Finally he has his cousin jordan create a Fedex tracking number, next day delivery. Of corse nothing arrives. Fedex tracking status says, shipment created, no package every delivered to fedex for shipment.
John claims Fedex lost the package, he has to file a claim. Fedex can't locate the package, now a duplicate title has to be ordered. Obviously at this point I'm getting very concerned. I ask for a copy of the payoff letter from MB, copy of the duplicate title paperwork from DMV (including receipt) and a copy of the Fedex claim. John produces a filled out duplicate title form form DMV, no receipt, nothing else. I'm leaving out the droll series of lies and misrepresentations that go along with this sort of thing, it gets repetitive.
So at this point I've had more than enough of John's lies & misrepresentations, I request my money back for the vehicle. We both bank at chase, John agrees, says he'll transfer the money by 12-24-12. this hasn't happened. I'm turning him over to law enforcement here in LV and my attorneys will be chasing him in civil court.
This posting won't help me get my money back, hopefully if anyone is considering doing business with john Rhee or Black Diamond this will help them in their decision making process.

in a separate transaction, John saw my 2006 Alpha H1 in my driveway when he delivered the Mercedes. He asked if it was for sale, it was, i was replacing the H1 with the Mercedes. He said he sold cars to Saudis, they were looking for 5 Alphas. A week or so later we agree on price. A week or so after that I have the payoff info from my lease company. this series of event is running concurrent with the lies & deception about the Mercedes. Long story short at 10 days of "i transferred the money today""i'm going to the bank today to find out what happened" etc I sell the vehicle to someone else. John finally says he didn't have the Saudi money, etc. etc
John in my experience is a con man thief and liar.

I'll post up the contact information for law enforcement once i file charges. If anyone else has defrauded by Black Diamond or John Rhee you'll have a conduit of information at least.

Evidently John Rhee has a similar case pending against him in Redondo California as well, relating to the sale of a Ferrari. Beware of this group and this guy
