Default "The Car Show" needs you...I need you...

    Hey everyone,

For anyone who doesn't know me (only like 5 to 349,834 of you), my name is Zack. I'm a writer on Smoking Tire, friend of Aimee's and one of the grunts working on "The Car Show." We have a taping this week, and we're discussing luxury cars that have depreciated in value. Specifically cars that started in the $60-100k range and are now $40k or less.

The powers that be want to talk to some owners via SKYPE, about their experience trying to sell a used luxury car in the current market. I've struck out emailing people selling their cars, but I thought who would know better about this than the L4P crew. I'd volunteer myself, but the depreciation on a modded Miata isn't much.

So if anyone is trying to sell a "luxury car" (luxo SUV, sedan, BMW, Mercedes, blah blah) and have owned it long enough to see a big drop in it's value and you wouldn't mind talking to Adam Carolla, Matt and Dan Neil over skype on Thursday, message me.

Sorry to keep throwing out spammish posts. I like cars a lot more than I like production work, so I'm trying to do this with the utmost respect. Thanks so much. Back to the mine shaft.

Sorry, I didn't know you until now.

I could have told you about how little I got for my Qvale when I sold it, but I don't have Skype. On the flip side I could tell you about the great deal I got on my SL when I bought it .

Talk to AUDI. They stamp their resale values on every car. 0000

    I have a 2000 BMW E38 7 Series 740iL that was $102k brand new.

Right now, they go from $3k - $15k
