personal experiance.....
mazda miata and first gen 240sx are loads of fun. They are quick and don't weigh anything so power isn't needed. if you could find a 1986 corolla AE86, you would hit jackpotL4P's Advisor on Pink Tacos and Manual Gearboxes
I got kicked out of the casino in Las Vegas; I didn't cheat, I just misunderstood what the crap table was for

if I were you i'd look for B5 A4 1.8T! with some bolt ons and a tune its fast enough to be reliable and get you decent MPGs! i know from a personal experience... and its got your euro luxury ammenities and style...
