Thread: Droptop C5 slays an R34 and GTR

The droptop C5 belongs to a buddy of mine. Very clean, well built car. Definitely surprised these two Nissans on the highway. Nothing spectacular, but wanted to share.

I dont know the driver of the R34 and I dont have specifics on C5 but I know there was head work done, a cam and bolt ons. I'll snap a picture of it next time I see him.

interior looks like an R33, not an R34 unless it's a GTT

i owned an R33 for over 5 years and I cant tell R33/R34 from that video. Only thing I can see is aftermarket side mirror.

R34 GTR has an ontop dash monitor standard in all R34 GTR but this could be an R34 GTT which is same setup as R33

I agree traffic was the reason he got behind the Vette, but I think you can see the Vette moving on him before that.

Owner of C5 said he has AFR heads, cam, longtubes and Z06 Ti exhaust. I call BS - last dyno was 460 at the wheels
