Default Bullrun 2011 entry fee deals

Hello everyone, over the last few months I have found a few teams making deals regarding the 2011 Bullrun rally from Las Vegas to Miami.

I thought I would let you guys know who is offering these deals in case anyone is interested in rallying this year, but doesn`t have (or want to spend) the full $20K to spend on the entry fee.

There`s three teams offering deals to cut back on the entry fee, and one car rental package deal for Bullrun.

    ----

    Team Exotics Rally (Seth Rose):

Like last yeat, Seth Rose of Team Exotics Rally, who will also be doing GoldRush 3 this year in his white Nissan GT-R, will be offering a 50% off deal for anyone wishing to sign up for Bullrun through him. Seth says he has secured a sponsor to cover half the cost of the rally for up to 10 teams total. I believe he currently has 4 or 5 teams signed up already.
E-mail Seth@ExoticsRally.com if you`re interested in rollling with Seth this year.

    Team SuperSpereders (Rob Ferretti):

Rob Ferretti of SuperSpeeders fame is offering a very similar deal. I found his deal on SuperSpeeders.com. It appears that he has worked something out with Bullrun so he can get up to 10 teams into the rally for $10,000 instead of the regular $20,000. Currently Rob says he has 7 of those spots already spoken for, but 3 are still available. E-mail Rob@Superspeeders.com if you`re interested in rolling with Team SuperSpeeders this year.

Team Wu (Bill and Allen Wu):

I was looking at the Team Wu facebook page two days ago and saw that they too have 5 spots for sale or trade on this year`s rally. Bill and Allen are willing to accept $10,000 or something of value for one of their 5 spots on the rally. Allen Wu says they are aiming this deal towards people who have never done Bullrun before. He said that the selling point may be negotiable, and they may take a combination of cash and items of value. E-mail Iwantwu@hotmail.com if you`re interested in rolling with Team Wu this year.

    ------------------------

In the most recent Bullrun.com website update, they posted that they are teaming up with Gotham Dream Cars in NYC to provide a car rental package for Bullrun this year.

The prices below reflect the cost of renting the car, transportation, and the $20K Bullrun entry fee. So you could rent a Maserati GranTurismo for $22,500 and that includes the rally entry and transportation from NYC to Las Vegas, and back to NYC from Miami. You`re really only paying $2,500 for the Maserati.

    Catagory 1: $22,500

    Maserati Quattroporte
    Maserati GranTurismo
    Porsche Carrera convertible
    Dodge Viper
    Range Rover
    Porsche Cayenne
    BMW M5 / M6
    Corvette Z06
    ----
    Catagory 2: $30,000
    Lamborghini Gallardo
    Bentley GT / GTC
    Ferrari 360
    Nissan GTR
    Mercedes SL AMG
    Corvette ZR1
    Ferrari F430 Coupe
    ----
    Catagory 3: $40,000
    Lamborghini Murcielago
    Rolls Royce
    Mercedes SLR / SLS
    Audi R8
    Ferrari 430 Spider
    Ferrari 599
    ----

If you`re interested in that deal, contact info@bullrun.com or Rob@SuperSpeeders.com

Yeah - that`s what I was thinking too. I`m not sure if I would spend $20K extra (in addition to the entry fee) to drive an SLR or F430 Spider. Category 1 looks like it`s worth it, category 2 - maybe, category 3, I don`t think so.

Yeah, if I had the money and time I think that's the route I'd go personally.

Me too. I would rent the Gran Turismo or the Dodge Viper in the class 1 category. Since the price includes the cost of the rally and transportation, I think it's a pretty good deal!

If I did have a car to do the rally in, I would jump on the opportunity that Rob Ferretti, Seth Rose and Team Wu are offering. Getting in for $10K is pretty good considering what the rally offers.

Crazy Gotham is doing that! I think i'd do the Gran Turismo or M5/6... Vipers scare me and I don't think i'd want to death grip the steering wheel for 3,000 miles! lol.

True. Driving a Viper for seven days over 4,000 miles would be scary. The Gran Turismo would be my first pick, then maybe the Corvette Z06. Since Gotham Dream Cars has a location in Miami, I guess it only makes sense that they teamed up with Bullrun. The teams that rent cars from Gotham can drop them off at the finish line. It's a good partnership, especially since Rob Ferretti, the Chief Operating Officer of Gotham, is doing Bullrun again this year in his Malllett Corvette.

I would take the Z06 over the Maserati because of the mileage. All other front runner have a fuel cell so they don't have to fuel up during the legs so I would take the advantage of the low fuel consumption of the Corvette.

True. If given the opportunity to choose between the two, the Gran Turismo is more exotic for sure - and given that I doubt I would ever own either of those cars, I would take the Maserati. Fuel economy would suck for sure though.

This would be a blast. So does fee cover 1 person and car or team? Just say you go for an M5 can you have a 4 person team?
