He is basically saying that he is 'money' so he wants you to use a rubberband and roll him up.

Id go with a 2nd Gen Mr2, with a Jze or whatever the Jap Motor is do a single turbo conversion, Full Exhaust, Sleeved out block so find a low mile one that has a good crank and journals so you dont have to do much other than pistons, rings, rod's, mains and sleeves and you are good to go, do a 2-step controller so you can build boost fast, a Mcleoud race clutch and so on let me know if you need more info just IMO.......

My suggestion: MKIV Supar turbo if you want big HP on a budget and something that can handle a bit. I'm assuming from your comments that you are looking for and 'all arounder' and not just a drag car.

Typically the stock bottom end on a 2JZGTE (yes, I know the movie pun) is good for 800HP so getting to 1000HP isn't to much of a stretch, if you are doing it anyway.... On the handling side the car is heavy and will likely need at least a 285 section front tire to turn in. After that it's coilovers and sway bars and you should be good. With the kind of power you are looking for you are going to need some stopping power. Try looking at the new Stop Tech STR-60's. A couple of the Porsche track rats I run with have had great results with them and no brake fade.

    Keep us posted

We recently finished a random 2.7t swap into a Audi 1990 90 coupe. The project turned out really well due to weight, awd, power combo. It looks like you already know about the 2.7t so this would be adding amother level. I can send you a short video of the car.

My other thought would be (don't know if it is possible) but using the cobra 4.6 supercharged motor and doing a swap into a focus/escort platform. The motor is a great build for cheap, and the car/parts are cheap. Just a thought.

A side note: the thought of an mr2 is great, the build is great, fast and light. But o notice your name as "big"mnz04, and if I am reading it right you might not fit in the mr2. I am 6'4" and 240 and can only last about 4 minutes in that tight of a space.

not trying to be an ass but 9s would be small potatoes in my garage.

I alsp hate fwd cars with a huge passion.

I was thinking about the rapper when i named the thread but the idea is for a project. i like to build my own cars. buying your civic would do two things:

    1. not get me a when i need a winter project when work is real slow.
    2. make me the laughing stock of everybody that i know for buying a freaking civic.

j/k dont get all uppety cause i dont like civics.
