Chicago Midnight Run: 9.3.10
Those of us in the midwest needed a rally. So I set up the event, which started off as a small group of friends and turned into a run with over 20 cars, from four states, and three sponsors. Thanks to everyone who helped set it up and to everyone who came out.
Unfortunately we couldn't get L4P swag in time, but many members were present. Those from out of the area stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel. After the run many of us went out to Mother Hubbards for a late night, then retired to my room to kill the mini bar.
Saturday many people went to Supercar Saturdays at Autowerks, but those of us who stayed up to 7am decided to sleep in. Saturday night, those of us that decided to make it a weekend went to Soundbar and had a great view from the DJ booth, thanks to DJ Markski.

I remember this. Lot's of talk about showing up to SCS and only 2 cars showed up. Big Fail.
It is vital that we work to a few golden rules. Always work in a small team. Keep a very low profile. Only deal with people who come recommended. And it's like selling anything else: washing machines, hand made shoes, blowjobs. As long as you don't take the piss people will always come back for more. And that is not to say we don't have that special kind of magic that makes two kilos into three. But never be too greedy.

From MI; 911T, supercharged C5Z06, Lingenfelter C6Z06, and Gallardo showed up to SCS. I was in the middle of my 2 hours of sleep before getting at it with Hard Rock to ensure that Tim & I had rooms for Saturday night due to a slip up on HR's part when SCS started.
