    you heard wrong

    i think all of the 6 series use springs, 645, 650, m6.

    the only one i can think of that might need a module is a 745Li, 750Li, 760Li... and only in the rear, as the front suspension is still springs.

    but those are some nice wheels on a beautiful car!
