Can you stall a F430 Scuderia?
Okay this maybe a stupid question but can you stall a F430 Scuderia or any other fully paddle shift cars?
How do you drive a full paddle shift car? Do you simply put the car into 1st and give it throttle to get off the line or do you rev it up in neutral and put it into 1st? Do you have to put it into neutral before coming to a stop?

i usually like to say there is no such thing as a stupid question, but really sometimes there is. in this case, i dont think it is. ive kindof been curious about it myself for a while just havent taken the time to look into it.

Usually just pull the right paddle (I think it was the right one) to put it in 1st with your foot still on the brake. And from then you just flip your way through the gears. To get it back in neutral some cars require you to pull both paddles at the same time, reverse has a separate button for it.

Just tap the paddles. Put the car in 1st gear while your foot is on the brake so you dont jump forward.. lol.. it's embarassing.
Stalling? Uhhh.. anything is possible I guess.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't this be an electrical issue or something with the car?
If he had engaged 1st gear, the car would've just rolled forward.
If he hadn't, the car would have just stayed in neutral.
It's not like there's a clutch pedal for him to engage incorrectly, so was it really his fault?
...or maybe it's a 6spd f430 that just looks like a scuderia...

So foot on brake, put it into 1st and just go?
What about coming to a stop? Just brake and downshift back down to 1st?

If your rpm goes low enough, the car will downshift automatically. The only way I know of a paddle shift car stalling is if you are moving backwards in a gear other than reverse, which can happen when you spin the car. I'm not sure if that's the same for ferraris, but I know BMWs work that way.

I dont know for sure, but i have heard of tcm/ecu re flashes and modules that eliminate the auto shift feature.
I myself prefer the man pedal
