Those of us outside of the ricer crowd starting to really ring out forced induction/direct injection 4 and 6 cylinders coming down the pike, such as the new ecoboost 4 and 6's from Ford. I'm one of those who believes that the market will always go for the most simple solution, thus internal combustion engines will still be around for a long time, just not 5/6/7 liter v8's with 400+bhp. I am really excited to see what small displacement internal combustion engines will do in the aftermarket when the OEMs start to adapt them to larger and/or performance based applications. Would love to see a twin turbo, direct injection, flat 6 from Ferrari, they could call it 'Dino' while giving me credit of course!
Edit: what I just said literally has nothing to do with the op's question, so in response to myself, "nice first post dumb*ss"!Last edited by theRG; 07-30-2010 at 06:27 AM.
