Exclamation Help me decide on a new car.

I am open to ANY options. The only rules are it has to be reasonable for daily driving and it has to maintain somewhat a good value.

The two cars I am interested in right now are an 07-08 BMW M6 or a 2011 Panamera (6cyl). They are on opposite ends of the spectrum, but I am all over the place. What do you guys suggest?

    M6 isn't a bad choice. What's your price range?

I'd suggest a R8, or maybe a AM DBS (higher end of the spectrum).

the m6's dropped from 100k+ new to like hight 50s i think. so those aren't holding their value well if you are concerned about that.

Value wise I would think you would get more out of the M6 than the 6-cyl Panamera

If I could buy any daily right now it would be the Panamera.

Pan just looks ugly. The egg shaped hatch is unbearable.

M6 is decent but it'll continue to drop in value with the newer model on the way.

If I were to spend around 55k, it would be a used 911. Unless you need back seats, it's simply the most fun and reliable sports car out there. Boxster S or Cayman S are also good choices.

If you want something more tame, I would also look into C63 or M3. M6 is big but quite useless in terms of the space available.

Not a fan of the M6, good car for the money in the pre-owned market, but a waste if you buy new. The Panamera is a MUCH better choice. I would also consider the R8 if I were you...

Whats about a M5, which is acutally comparable with a Panamera, concerning useability.

I think it would be a really great daily, enough room and much fun, and THAT sound! ;-)
