3,000 miles in less than 3 days
I drove down to Texas over the weekend. Decided to take the Hummer since I don't drive it enough. Let a little after 6pm friday and was back at 8am monday.
I brought a small tool box with no spare parts, averaged 75mph, no break downs. Temps reached 200 in the middle of the day on a few bigger hills in TX, otherwise the temp gauge was vertical.
Anyways, here are the pictures.
Ran into this guy leaving Michigan:

Where I slept from 4am-6am saturday:

Then saw a cop chasing a Horse in Arkansas:

Awesome trip. Im a huge fan of the HUMMER brand. When I was running the HUMMER dealership, I was lucky enough to go back to the factory in Mishiwaka Indiana twice. They have a 300 acre HUMMER play ground. I also got to train with the Special Forces guys on the military rigs.
Outside of that I have been to hell and back in HUMMERS.
Looks like you had a fun trip! Your H1 looks sick!!!

I have been to the AMG course about ten times. Love it there. I actually was the only truck at the 2002 Homecoming to make it through their level III course without getting stuck.

Started off as business, deal went south. So ended up turning it into pleasure to justify the time.
