It's a badass car and all but I wish they would have made the exterior and interior look less like the Exige. Maybe give it a rear window so you can admire the engine, different side intake scoops, a different front end and a new dash for the interior.

I still don't like that car for the money. Too confusing for average person. They may come up to you and ask you questions about your Lotus Exige, Evora or better yet, your new Tesla.... Arghhh!

FYI - Previous Koenigsegg models were powered by Ford Modular V8 engines sourced from the U.S. They have their own engine program now but it is still based on the Ford mod motor. The 4.7 liter V8 in the Aston Martin Vantage is also based on the same Ford mod motor.
Small Italian car companies in the 60' and 70's also had a habit of putting American iron into a European chassis. It's easier to install a proven powerplant and tweak it than to develope a new engine from scratch (an unproven one at that).
