generally in this order (my 2 cars have been a supra & porsche in my sig)
- moddability - will the car hold up to mods? 600hp min is nice. a turbo is usually implied. (note: as a i get older, i do get tired of playing this game - i'd love a stock 600hp car w/ warranty)
- manual transmission - nuff said
- handling - can it take the corners? does it feel fun while doing it? (the latter i learned w/ the porshe - supra is not fun after a porsche)
- aggressive classic look - i like an aggressive look that still retains some classic lines. 996tt obviously fits that bill perfectly; supra is arguable, though mostly b/c of the wing (take off the wing & it's one of the most beautiful cars ever made)
- computers / intrusion - i think the 996tt has a decent mix of tech that helps & can be bent to your needs; i fear new cars b/c they are 1-2 steps removed from: a) automatic driving, b) 24/7 GPS/event tracking, & c) being essentially "leased" cars where you have no rights
the way things are going, i'll be stuck w/ my car for the rest of my life.

A lot of people have these 'rules' and 'standards' that each car has to follow, but for me, it's about walking up to a car with my heart beating, hands sweating, and imagining being in even before stepping inside.
My passion goes beyond just the brand and the numbers - I think every car has their moment you know?
I can't even imagine the feeling of being in something so timeless like 289FIA_Cobra's Shelby with the open top. I remember looking up the first time I saw it, pulling in to the SR parking lot with a rumbling V8. Even MTK's Scuderia, something so raw and performance-oriented just makes my heart beat faster.
That's what I look in a car - passion.

In order:
1. Looks (Has to look good or else Im not going to drive it)
2. Performance (Self explanatory)
3.Reliability (If it spends more hours in the shop than on road, then its not reliable)

looks: has to be aggressive. beefy.
rarity: don't like to see the same every 15 minutes
torque: lots of it
reliability: has to be better than land rover
