Container Shipping
A good friend has a car in germany and wants to get it to the US. Anyone have experience shipping cars from Europe to the US? We have the rest of the importation stuff lined up as far as registering it here.

So what else do you need? If you're working with an agent then they'll take care of / manage it pretty well from a hands off perspective for you other than start / end point logistics.

I regularly import vehicles from the UK in containers so I can only kinda help... If its just one vehicle you are better off and it will be cheaper to do RO-RO (roll on-roll off) shipping. Containers will fit 2 to 3 cars and the only cost benefit is if you are in fact filling the container up.
