    Bravo! Great post.

    I'm in a similar situation and would really like the opinion of TJ and tblackj, as they have always given me sound advice in the past.
    I'm going back to "Take Over The World" school. I currently commute via G550, but with the cost of av gas on the up and up, I need opinions on a cheap commuter, thats fun to drive and cheap to insure.

    And tblackj, this is most certainly not another one of "those threads". An L4P member is in distress, seriously confused, and really needs some assistance in choosing a commuter vehicle, as we all know how impossible a task that is! The OPs motive, is not, to show what an eballer they may be. That would be posing. I await patiently for your valued words.

    Veyron Super Sport with 8 Turbos.

    Pagani Zonda RS Station Wagon.

    Tesla converted to burn a coal/bunker oil mixture.

    Koenigsegg CCXXRRSSVV with jet engine conversion.

    Lamborghini Re-Invention Roadster Rock Krawler.

    Porsche Carrera GT Quad Turbo Shwimwaggen.

    McLaren F1 Supercharged Spyder conversion with automatic transmission.

    McLaren SLR Limmo with full ManImSorry extremely tasteless body kit, lots of functionless roof scoops, plaid flannel and zebra hide interior.

    Ariel Atom with 6 engines.

    And a bunch more exotics that you can only dream about.

    I would say that before you get a car and go off to big boy school, you need to get the ability to make a decision about things in life without going to a car board to ask what kind of car to get. You are looking for a sub $30k daily driver and you haven't liked anyones opinions yet so what is your angle on this?

    These threads baffle me. I'm waiting for your post tomorrow morning asking whether you should wear your Superman Underoos or your lacy thong with the rose in the back.

    Dude, find a car, drive it, buy it, sell it when you are done with law school and start making good money.
    First, thank you for all the responses, they are genuinlly appreciated. TJ, I didn't realize the automotive section was not the place for an automotive related question; thank you for setting me straight. Your response baffles me even moreso than my thread baffles you. I hoped to accomplish two things by creating this thread. One, I had already narrowed my decision down to two or three cars, however, I wanted to do my due diligence prior to making a $30,000 decision by asking other automotive enthusiasts for their input to see if there were any viable options I overlooked. Two, I was hoping to engage in a friendly automotive discussion with other automotive enthusiasts on an automotive forum board. I was successful in accomplishing both of these goals, prior to your ass-holish response.

    I hardly think my initial question is comparable to asking what underwear I should wear, as I plan on making a seperate thread in the fashion forum for that; so please feel free to wage your opinion on my supermand undees there. Your condescension is entertaining as well, especially considering it is most likely a result of envy mixed with a little bit of self-pitty. I'm not a child fresh out of undergrad that is still wet behind the ears looking at the world through virgin eyes. I'm an employed professional with 13 years left until retirement with a very established financial base.

    I'm not sure what internet browser you use, but you should download firefox or internet explorer as both come equipped with "BACK" buttons, so you won't be stuck in a thread that pisses you off so much, and you are forced to a respond instead of just backing out and reading something else.

    To anyone that is interested, I am most likely buying a 2008 GS350 tomorrow from buddy. Thanks again for all the input.

    FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY!!!!! tblackj is not the same person as TJ.

    I didnt come down on you, after you said, "Im a rich bad ass with money and property." I just said, "oh, ok.. buy an Audi S4 avant, and post pics."

    Granted, I was thinking you were kind of a douche by your response, but I didnt say that. It was tblackj that went ahead and told you you were acting like a douche.

    tblackj = Thomas
    TJ = TJ

    Why is this so difficult?

    Second

    Dont take that tone with tblackj. If you do, we will be forced to engage you in e-combat. We are both highly trained e-warriors. You should be scared. We e-roll hard.

    Good choice. Be sure to post pictures - any mods in mind?

    On this whole argument thing though, just drop it. It's really not worth it; this is L4P and it's understood that people might step on toes, but it's also expected to be the better man (or woman) and keep it civil.
