Porsche 911
- Has been made for over 4 decades... longest ever
- Amazing handling and precision, despite rear engine and four seats
- Both experienced and novice drivers can drive it and still have a blast and a challenge
- Over its time, the entire car has been improved and updated, but still mantains its traditional 911 heart and feel

jeremy clarkson once did a video about that question...

and his answer was the jaguer E-type cabrio....as the best car ever made...

i would agree with the 911 is one of the best cars ever made...

- it breaks often, leaks frequently, severely underpowered, and has basically no creature comforts, but it has been in production (basic design) for 26 years and no other company has been able to design a vehicle that can: be as versatile, go anywhere off road/on road/airborne, get decent fuel mileage (amidst public views), run 100% bio fuel stock, more airtime than any other vehicle, more controversy over than any other vehicle, and known by the majority of the world.
- not to mention how much better the vehicle has become and with upgrades over time

to me the best car ever cant be an exotic..has to be mass produced. has to stand the test of time, has to be reliable, has to vary across a wide range of markets, have a large timespan...similar to the motorcyle version which is the honda cub...so to me it is:

the wv beetle.

Here here, there is only one and the VW bug is it, no other car is a versitale and easy to work on
