After looking for a good part of this week, I think I'm going with a Z71 Tahoe.
Plenty of towing power and four captain's chairs. There are some great deals on used examples plus many have the 100k mile warranty.

+1 on the 3/4 ton diesel 4x4 crew cab short bed. Find one a couple years old with low miles for low 20's no problem and you'll pretty much NEVER be forced to replace it.
