help/opinions on selling a DeTomaso Pantera
Evening Gents
Bossman has an imported 1974 DeTomaso Pantera GT-S (metal flares) with a few Hall Pantera upgrades sitting in the garage collecting dust. Motor had lots of work but ultimately failed on him 2 years ago.
He has finally decided that it's the time to sell. I've convinced him to put a new motor on a credit card.
Parts limit is $5K. Not a lot.
Help me get him the most out of this situation.

Rever and L1Vis are the local Pantera experts
If you are looking for a basic engine rebuild for that 351C you should be able to get it done for around 5K if you guys pull the engine and take it to a reputable rebuilder but if something major let loose in the engine you might be looking at 5k in parts.
What part of the country is the car in? I might be able to help with references for shops in your area.Last edited by Sean1; 09-18-2009 at 05:14 PM.
