Ridiculous. Even if it was removed/painted/whatever happened... This looks like it's a defected product or worse, a badly design product. It should not shred through like that so easily. I think we need some explanation.

Manufacturers like OZ, BBS, Volk Racing or Work started with the ambition of making better wheels than the stock ones in order to improve the car that they were supposed to be fitted to. The prurpose of them is to BE better than stock.

Brands such as ADV1, HRE, and what ever other companies out there (its almost impossible to keep track of "wheel makers" from the states also because almost all of them seem to clone the other's design) have different ambitions. The main ambition is to make money. Lots of it. Secondly the rims are supposed to LOOK better than stock. As established, there are no safty regulations in the states, which makes it very, very easy for those firms to flood the market with cheaply produced rims and sell them for ridiculous prices.

From my own experience HRE are an exception here. They really seem to be of very high quality both in service and product quality.

So if what you want is driving down the strip in your flashy lambo with nice custom rims that look great to you, theres nothing wrong with going with one of those many brands.
If on the other hand what you want is to improve your car's handling, etc. and have a stressable rim because you want to race your car - there's no way around BBS, OZ, Volk and other established firms.
Exactly.... not to mention each of those brands has had a long history supporting and competing in professional racing series, helping them develop even stronger and safer wheels.
They also provide wheels directly to many OEM auto manufactuers, which have to meet the highest of safety and durability requirements in order to avoid any potential issues and so that the cars can be sold in every country.

Small boutique manufactures might make some nice pretty designs, but they are not on the same level.... although I agree with Petrosexual, I've been watching HRE for a long time and see the steps theyve taken to bring quality and workmanship to a higher level, I would feel safe betting that HRE is the top of designer forged wheels.

Suffice it to say, this disgruntled client has elected to try and tarnish our image that has been built over many years of providing a high quality product and outstanding service.

We would be more than happy to entertain any questions concerning our product, fitments, and warranty however we would ask that it be done via PM, as anything directly related to this posting is not something we can/should address at this moment in time.

You attempted to change your warranty policies after the fact, you are a liar and a crook. The client didn't have to try and tarnish your image you did that all by yourself. You also claimed it was caused by track use LOL What are the wheels good for then? I am sure you will now claim it was the paint because the first lie didn't work.

I'm glad to know that a lot of (if not all?) BMW rims are made by BBS.

Wow if paint caused that then COR really sucks. Also the change of the warranty terms after the fact sucks.... their response sucks worst of all. No track or competition use? For looks only, what's the point.?

    Won't be buying COR.

A lobotomized chimp could design a nice looking wheel in CAD, send it to be cut and sell it. The companies that have been in the business for ages with proven success are the ones who not only design something that looks appealing but has been designed by a structural engineer to insure strength. When you play with peoples lives cutting corners = law suits.
