I have seen first hand what kind of abuse these wheels can take, I have always felt safe, even on the track (over 170mph)

Anyways, umm so here's some info on TUV, it's kept in a secret place called....our website.

Also, since you seem to have a genuine concern for everyones safety here on the internet I would like to personally invite you to The Sema Convention, booth number 44273 where we will actually be meeting with members of the TUV Austria staff, as well as our intermediate contractor who will be finalizing the certification of our actual facility in CA immediately after the show. I'm sure you will be attending Sema as usual

They only care that ADV1 makes some very nice looking wheels....which they do.
The reality is that very few wheel dealers have any type of certification or standardization. On the other hand most wheels are made by the same company so the quality is mostly fine.
The few problems that come up occur from several companies. What sets these dealers apart is their customer service during and after the sale when a problem occurs. The people here are satisfied with ADV1 and you're beating a very dead horse.

You can continue to harp on this TUV thing if you like, it's your time but I don't see anything coming out of it except people will consider you a jerk.
Yes the TUV thing has been beaten to death already. Yes there were some failures on some ADV1 wheelsets, but name me one company that didnt have any? I am not defending ADV1 again, but i've seen lots of Work, Advan, Volk, BBS wheels that had problems, that were warped, bent or simply cracked. Stuff like that is bound to happen with any wheelset no matter how good the quality inspections are. Anybody that does any kind of manufacturing will tell you that. As long as it stays withing some margin, it's all good. It's when there are more failures than good sets that it becomes a problem.

Meanwhile there is a thread about Himler 80 pages long bashing the dude.

    Take your own advice guys.......
The reason theres a thread 130 pages long on Robert himler is because he blatantly lied to sell a book. As far as i know jordan has yet to do that. But if its such an issue, just wait till they get it and then youll be ok

I dont think he was making an issue about quality.... I think hes pointing out that ADV purposefully mis-represented/embellished/exaggerated their status and/or coverage of their certification for the sake of marketing.
If any other wheel company did the same thing, I bet more members would make a big deal out of it, but ADV has a strong following here, so people just seem to ignore it.

Personally I think ADV are very good at what they do, I'm sure threads like this don't really hurt their biz in any measurable way.

Default From a client's point of view

I personally know these guys since they were at 360, I met them when I bought my first ever custom set. Actually my first set was their last order before they left 360. They told me that they were going to launch they own brand and I followed them, now all my cars have ADV.1 wheels on them and now we have even started doing projects together.

All this to say that I know these guys pretty well by now and honestly, first as a client, I have never been treated so well by any other company, these guys bend over backwards to make things happen and always do their best to satisfy their customers. I love tuning cars, it's my passion and these guys are helping me live my passion. These guys know cars, these guys love cars, like all of us in this forum, which is why we are here In The first place, to share a common passion.

At the end of the day, they changed the game in the wheel industry, the products these guys sell are top of the line and I cannot thank them enough for it. If anybody has problems with the company or the products, since things do happen as with any other company or products, I invite them to contact ADV.1 directly and I'm sure they will be well taking care of.

To the person who started this thread, as my man Jordan said, he has cordially invited you to pass by and say hi at their booth at Sema, since they will be apparently in your area. I'm sure he will be more than happy to answer all of your questions and show you all the new models in case you could be interested in a new set.

Guys lets keep loving cars and tuning them, it's all good, one love.

If all companies who embellished and mis-represented stuff (regardless of how minor) got flamed and shat on, there would be riots. This topic sucks.

If I remember correctly Jordon stood out there for anyone who had complaints or unresolved issues regarding his past and not a single one came out. If you have anything you'd like to ask about or need clarification about please do meet him at his booth, as I'm sure he has nothing to hide or disguise. Nice try though troll.
indeed thanks for the support! I've said it a million times but I'm always strangely ignored for some reason. oh well, trollfail.
