Default A look into the life of ADV.1 Jordan Swerdloff

Industry and interest just recently did an in depth interview with the founder and president of ADV.1, Jordan Swerdloff. I'd recommend giving it a read! Lots of information and even I learned some new things about J in it. There's even a section where he talks about his love for trying on female bikinis!

On a serious note, there really is some great information. It goes through Jordan's life from how he first got into the industry, what he like to do in his down time, and some of the struggles had to go through to get ADV.1 where it is today. Here is a quick little excerpt from the interview:

    "ASHER:
What are some of the factors that make ADV.1′s branding so unique in the auto industry?

    JORDAN
Everything you see – the ADV.1 website, all of the photography and design, isn’t done by an outsourced designer. I won’t hire someone who designs for wheels and then also designs for an attorney’s office just because I need to make an ad. It’s something that I’m real about because it’s what I’ve always done. If I wasn’t doing this right now I’d be doing that so I guess it’s just real as opposed to some kind of ulterior motive that might drive me to do something just for the sake of keeping up, or to out do the next guy… and for us its fun! You know, before when you called, I was putting logos on the new photo shoot and that kind of stuff."

J, love the interview, specially having witness a lot of the building steps, nothin' but respect for your guys.

Still got Miguel's last "360" order for my NSX, which was also my first custom order rims, will never forget the feeling when I got them and will always keep them.

When Miguel told me he was leaving 360 to start his own company, I told him my next order will be with him and look where we are today.

Life just has it's ways and as you said you gotta follow your gut feeling. Can't wait for the next steps.

I'm gonna have to say I formed a not so flattering opinion based on the 360 talk, but now I've changed it, excuse me for being a douche. Good article man, and some solid advice. I'm in a situation now where my biz is growing like crazy and a lot of that helps, very similar mind set. Can't wait to see what's next, and maybe I'll have to give in and buy a set or two.
