Bernard Tomic's "showing off" in a BMW M3 causes standoff with Australian police

^ According to that, he was on P-Plates, lol. First off, why is he on P-Plates! secondly, if he actually is on P-Plates, then no way would he be allowed to drive a car like an M3...from what little i know, P-Platers can only have cars below 200hp or something.

He's on p plates because he's only 19
He has a special license that allows him to drive it to 'work' and back only.

Damn i didn't know he was that young.

Probably just a stunt so he can tell the judge ' I've goten rid of it, please go easy on me'.

Anyone going to the auction on the 8th? So tempted to go just to see what it sells for....

The M3 was actually given to Tomic as part of his sponsorship with BMW. From what I understand, the exemption excuse was anything that had to do with tennis, aka: going to training etc. BMW would have had a major influence on the Queensland Transport giving Tomic the exemption.



A source close to Tomic has told me:

My friend works VERY closely with Bernard and has said that he made the decision to sell the M3 at auction before all the cop bullshit happened. It is his car and he keeps every cent. He will be buying a R8 in Monte Carlo which will be his main home this year.
