No idea. Is the ppq auction on tonight. I read in a newspaper that they are expecting up to $500k for the plate Q8.

They haven't had an auction since 2010 I thought? Is there one on tonight?

Got an email back from the seller of the single digit plate I wanted.... offers over 100K. Not going to happen buddy

Possibly an arab buyer? over here Q8 = Kuwait...so i wouldn't be surprised if some Kuwaiti guy living there dished out 500k for a Q8 plate.

Yep there was a plate auction. Mostly 8 based plates.

Also there's an e25 event coming up in Bris which I got an invite to, which is unveiling their Mclaren MP4-12C which they just acquired. Anybody coming to that?

I think the number 8 is lucky for the Chinese? Not sure.
