^^ +1 B8 S4 is stupid fast for what it is. With software they are even faster than C63/M3....

Yeah, the B8 S4 dyno's incredibly close to its CHP.......meaning you see stock cars putting down 300-310 awhp.......it's incredibly underrated.

With a tune it will put to shame many other cars.

s4 with just chip vs a stock m3

That's with a crappy MTM piggy back tune......REVO or GIAC will change that completely

And? The z4 is a 2 door sports car. The s4 is a heavy sedan.

true. my point is that since the audi has 30 extra hp i expected it to have had a greater lead on the z4. i don't know if the audi has had any weight reduction or not, but then there's no way to know how much the extra weight affected it either (assuming there was none).

I'm not going to get into a "my car is better than your car" debate because in the end it always comes down to personal preference. Me, i would drive either car on any day.

It takes more than 30 hp to make up weight differences. Also in order for it to get off the line (take the lead) you need more torque to compensate for the weight then some more torque to have any sort of "advantage".

I've always nicknamed my car the tank, cuz the s4 damn well feels like a tank. Nonetheless, with the performance success of the B8 S4, Audi really had a great opportunity to make a splash in the water with a different engine in the RS4. I feel like they're just never ballzy enough to give us what we want.
