Thread: My 2010 Audi R8 5.2 - Pictures

Over 32,000 people now know what exactly happened with my 2009 Audi R8 4.2 and if you do not, check out the, "Well This Sucks!!! R8 = Totaled" thread I created in the Audi section as well. Anyway, let me update you all with pictures and info of my 2010 Audi R8 5.2. I purchased this R8 from a fellow L4P member, 4PLAY. Let me start by saying a huge thank you to Tommy (4PLAY) for keeping this car in the most immaculate condition! Everything about this car is pristine! I took delivery of this R8 this past Sunday (1/15/12) around 11 p.m. I could not be any happier with the car. It has everything I would ever want! It is an Ibis White / Black R8 5.2. It has carbon fiber everywhere, and I mean everywhere! Carbon fiber exterior package (front spoiler and rear diffuser), carbon fiber mirrors, carbon fiber sideblades, carbon fiber door sills, carbon fiber inlays, carbon fiber engine compartment, carbon fiber shift knob (MAcarbon), carbon fiber ash tray cover (MAcarbon), carbon fiber emergency brake (MAcarbon) and carbon fiber radio surround (MAcarbon). It is an Audi Exclusive R8 with the nicest interior appointments I have ever seen. Basically, all the plastic pieces on a normal R8 are replaced by leather and alcantara on this one. The steering wheel has been wrapped in Alcantara as well. This car also has a set of 20" AVUS Racing wheels wrapped in Michelin PS2s. The car is lowered and has a Quicksilver Titanium Sport exhaust system which sounds phenomenal. All the emblems and the exhaust tips on the car have been painted black with the "R" in the R8 badge in Scuderia Red. The calipers have been painted Scuderia Red with a black R8 stamp and the engine screen has been painted Scuderia Red as well. I also believe there is a Carbonio carbon fiber air intake installed. To top it all off, this R8 has custom floor mats. I'm enjoying every second of driving this car, which hasn't been too much lately. Lol! great looking car, haven't been able to figure out what the perfect color for the R8 is, but i think you've found it.

Wow! Congrats. Nothing wrong with having LOTS of carbon fiber Seems a lot of deals have been going on through L4P members... Thats what I like to see. Glad you were safe in your accident, and enjoy it in good health.

That's one of the best looking r8's I've ever seen. Congratulations. What are your thoughts on the 4.2 vs 5.2?

Thanks, I couldn't agree with you more! I have always wanted a white R8 and I finally got it!

Thank you! There is certainly nothing wrong with carbon fiber. The more the merrier! L4P is the best! I appreciate it!

Thank you so much! I have to agree with you, lol! Comparing the two is interesting. They have a very similar feel, but you can definitely tell the power is really there in the 5.2. The 4.2 is not slow, but the 5.2 is over the top! The feel of the car is about the same, but I love having the extra power!
