Thread: My new 2012 Audi A6. :)

Hi,

Would first like to say thanks to all the members on here at Luxury4Play.

I have had the pleasure to enjoy many of your very enjoyable posts for some time now. You all bring joy to my life through your love for luxury items, especially luxury vehicles !

I have recently had the privilege of acquiring myself an Audi A6 from my employer at Capilano Audi in North Vancouver, BC Canada.

It was a either the S4 or the A6. The S4 in the configuration I desired was a month away, so I had to settle with an A6.

The new A6 have allowed me to appreciate the Audi brand more than I thought was possible ! Mostly from the absolute smoothness/luxury of it. A lot of the interior is from the Audi A8, from the class exclusive touch pad that I use daily to the beautiful digital screens between the tachometer/speedometer and the one that elevates itself from the center dashboard. There are many other reasons why the A6 continues to put a smile on face and others that see it in person too are smiling!

I have the pleasure of being employed for an Mercedes-Benz dealer recently where I got to experience most of the Mercedes' line-up, the new C-class Coupe and ML, both fantastic vehicles also from their recent redesigns, but this new Audi A6 have won my heart once again with the Audi brand.

What a beautiful car, actually saw one today while I was getting out of the mall in black and I didn't realize how nice it was till I saw the driver come out and expose the interior, what a work of art. Enjoy it in good health! I've always had a love for Audi's.

Yeah I was very lucky as the Audi A6 that was available had the Natural Ash Wood trim where the tree rings/lines can be seen vividly and felt too ! It is also wrapped around from the doors to the center dash like first seen on the Jaguars.

You're more than welcome, I love the Natural Ash Wood trim, it really does flow well with the interior and when it wraps around it makes the car just feel complete. Did you get the Bang and Olufsen sound system as well? I heard it sounds amazing.

I was lucky enough to hear the Bang and Olufsen sound system upgrade on an new Q7 and A8 recently and it puts me speechless with the amount of power/clarity the B&O offers from the polished aluminium speakers casing and self elevating tweeters.

It's quite an investment to opt for the B&O option on the higher end Audi models, so I haven't had to chance to hear it on the new Audi A6. It's an $6,500 option, optional only on the upgraded Premium Plus model. I got the standard Premium model Audi A6 with the Navigation and Sports package.

I know the configurations are different in the States, so forgive me if I sound confusing to you. :P

Congrats Joe! I'm in love with the new A6's. The front end is just mean looking and that interior is fantastic.

You got pretty much the exact car that my dad is looking into. Congrats on the purchase, I'm biased toward the white and black look as well.

Good luck going to any interior after getting used to the Audi!

Wow, I didn't realize the option was so much, I honestly thought it was stock on the higher end models like the A8. Nonetheless the navigation and the sports package is more than enough, and I hope you enjoy your new ride. Keep me updated! P.s - I saw this video on youtube of an A8 showing off the B&O system and wow, even through the video it sounds like it's coming through my entertainment center at home haha
