Congrats on the S class buddy. Is that what you are bringing on the gr? Good choice, MBZ > BMW or Audi

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the S8, it's one of my favorite cars. That's Audi for ya though -- fvcking awesome for a few months and then nothing but headaches after. I feel your pain!
DRINK MORE SCOTCH.

I've owned two 7s and have been up close and personal with the new F0 gen and Alpinas. I have also been up close and personal with many Benzes. My good friend owns a 10' S550 w/ AMG pkg.
My take: Bimmer wins across the lineup in "driving dynamics": handling, steering feel and particularly the 7 drives and feels more nimble and smaller than out is. Benz more plush. AMG models would be a must if I cross over.

As I stated before, in my taste plush=bad so Mercedes in general (except for the Black Series cars) are out of the question for me. I don't want to feel every bump in the road, but I also don't like the feeling of just floating because it bores me. I drove a LS600hL the other day and I couldn't feel the road and the steering felt like a video game because it was so easy to turn, needless to say I was bored of it super quickly. (PS you better not cross over haha

I sa go for it, but definitely put an exhaust on it, you will not regret it! It makes the car so much more enjoyable! Fast and loud!
