didnt seem like bragging at all. I would also go for the Porsche, partly because I love porsche too much! And a real porsche fan will be able know what you are driving, but everyone else will think its just a regular porsche.

I've experienced the same thing as you OP. I'm 21 and when I'm in downtown in the Aston, I get random people asking me: "Is that your daddy's car?" or one time I even had someone say: "F*cking drug dealer!" and then race off or I have teenagers trying to race me in their Honda Civics. I've also had the good kind of attention if you know what I mean, particularly drunk girls asking me for a ride home
. But what gives me the most satisfaction is when I drive by and I see a little kid just staring at me cause just seeing my car brings a smile to his face and I think that's awesome. There will always be haters wherever you go and there will always be people who are fascinated with you car, all that matters is how you funnel that attention you are given.

depends on where you live, where i am people will pass by and just glance at it, they may take a photo when its parked or admire the car but on the roads and rolling by people its not going to be a big deal. if you are in an area where its the only exotic within 50 miles then, yes. you will have tons of attention. id say go for it, the r8 is a great car. just get it in black/grey/silver and you will be fine and blend in somewhat.
if you want a faster car with nothing but positive attention except from gtr owners and any exotics you beat. buy a zr1. only haters you will have are those who got their asses beat. and you would blend in since everyone has a corvette...even i do haha.Last edited by Redlined; 12-20-2011 at 05:39 PM.

Hope to see you rolling around Boulder Dave! Saw the Chevelle in the warehouse a few months back, it looked killer!

You won't be able to drive a car of this nature and not get looks. Just get what you want and don't worry about the other stuff.

:-) The Chevelle certainly is a beast :-)
Looks like this deal may happen. I could do without the carbon fiber side-blades, but not like I'll be hating on them every time I look at the car :-) It's in port in San Diego right now apparently. I kinda want to just fly down and drive it home :-)...but figure I should and will hit up JP and see what the boys over there can do.LAMBORGOTTI: For People Who Really Have Nothing Inside (Simpsons:The Italian Bob:episode 364:season 17:8)
