Will be installing new UCA's this weekend.
As most of you know, lowering an Audi multilink suspension induces a lot of negative camber up front. I have about 1.5 deg. negative after lowering my car 1". The result of this is the inner tread will always wear faster than the outer.
I just wore out an entire corner edge of one tire (nylon and steel showing) and can tell the fate of the other is not far behind.
While it was expected, I was putting it off this year which gave me time to save up and order a set of adjustable control arms to solve the problem on the new front tires I just had installed today.
I should have these put in by this weekend, and hopefully, I can find someone to do the alignment properly.
The arms are Stėrn units and appear to be well constructed. Hopefully, I'll have time this weekend.
