R8 V8 or V10 cousin is getting one
Pro and cons. I say coupe he wants verts. Or he mite go back to p car 911 gts4. Thanks for the input boys and girls.

....But on a more serious note, the V10 comes standard with alot of the optional upgrades for the V8. i.e. Nav and led Headlights. V10 will also hold its value better.Last edited by JC Hunter; 09-05-2011 at 08:53 PM. Reason: Answered the Question properly ;)

V10 vert all the way....nothing like dropping the top. I also like the look of the vert more with the top down than the coupe.

Err no. V8s come with the same options unless you're picking up a used pre-2010.
And errr no again, V8s are holding better value than V10s in terms of % price drop in the used market.
If your friend lives in the city like I do, V8 makes more sense. And if he plans to mod extensively, then the cheaper V8 would also make more sense. I'd still have a modded V8 instead of a stock V10 any day of the week. If your friend is taller than 6'1, the verts a tight and uncomfortable fit.Last edited by freshmeat; 09-05-2011 at 09:14 PM.

5.2 spider is about as good looking of a car as it gets.
and i think that car could hold its value quite well, not very common, compared to the regular 4.2 R8.
