    Default 2005.5 A4

I found a good deal on one, but I don't know a whole lot about them. Can anyone offer advise? Is it worth it @ $14k? Are there major problems I should expect?

I know I can do mods as I go, but I know you guys and gals will give me honest no BS advise.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have an 05 A4 Avant as a daily and I have had zero problems with it so far (I own it since 07). I just take it to the dealer 2 times a year for it's regular service intervals, that's it. never had any unexpected costs and the car never let me down.

Electrical problems are major in A4 and A6. If everything is in working order then you should be fine. But if a few things are out then you might wanna second guess it. I myself am looking for a A4, A6, and RS6 for a daddy mobile. Getting a newer-ish Tahoe for my girl.

I'm not positive, I'm going by what I have read from reveiws and what I have read on various Audi forums. Trust me I research the sh*t out of a car before I dump even the 1st dollar into it. I wanna make sure I'm getting my money's worth. I know it will prolly screw me in the end.

I always take a buddy of mine that is a top car mechanic and let him examine the car in every detail, drive it and give his thought... it's weird, but he has never let me down

I do the same as well. Usually I even see if the dealer will let me take it to his shop to get a full inspection. My DD has 178K and runs like a champ and my girl's DD has 160K not a single problem. Let's just say, I have gotten ever dollar I have out of both!

same here, my Audi is now at 115k, my girls Bmw at 210k and it has been going good this far, but now the bimmer starts showing some rust and probably has had it's best time. Looking to get a Land Rover Sport for her in a while, we are planning on having kids in the near future, so i got to get her a soccer mum's car
