Regardless of what you get, def hit up one of the sponsors, I bet they will match or beat anything out there for a 4 member. Support the community by supporting our sponsors. Def call up Vivid.

KW, great race coilover. If you want to go super low, K Sports. Megans Racing coilovers are good too.

I agree that KW's are the best performance co's as those are what I have on my B6S4. That being said, the op didn't mention anything about tracking or performance, but rather comfort and lowering. There are other manufacturers such as H&R, Vogtland, and Stasis that make setups that will be more suited to what you're looking for and also be closer to your current price range. I would suggest going to the link provided below and doing a little searching on the different setups so you can see what would match your preferences best. Also, AZ has a good classifieds section where you could pick up slightly used co's at a great discount.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone. I do have comfort in mind because I spend about two hours a day driving on atlantas worst roads but I realize I gotta sacrifice a little comfort for performance and looks. Il deff be contacting vivid soon on the v2's soon!

One last question, should I worry about getting an "avant"set?
I would check since the Avant will be heavier in the rear than the normal A4. From what little I know I "believe" the A4 Avants only came in the V6 engine while the A4's sedans had two engine choices. Since the extreme difference would be an A4 1.8T v.s A4 Avant 3.0 V6, the weight difference can be as much as 200-300 lbs. (Avant has a little more glass and sheet metal as well and many came with tiptronic instead of stick). Be sure you specify you have the Avant with whatever engine and tranny combo you have.

Just to clarify, he said he has an '01 S4. Also, the weight difference between the rear of the S4 sedan and Avant is 111lbs. With the V2's there is no Avant setup, but some people increase the dampening on the rear 2-3 clicks to compensate for the weight. I personally wouldn't do that because the spring is supposed to hold the weight, not the shock.

Speaking to Stasis who is the EXPERTS in Audi tuning and handling, the Avant and Sedan S4 uses the same coilover.

I'm glad stasis knew because I asked some friends locally and they weren't sure what I should do. You guys are saving me a lotta time in research which i don't have. Thanks again!
Hopefully this paycheck will have enough overtime on it to hurry and and get a set of v2s on!
