The 1.8T motor is pretty robust and has proven capable of handling 500+ BHP. I currently have a 1.8T in my DD that I've been using for the last 10 years without any major issues, but I've maintained it well. That's the key to longevity in this motor. It's a highly tunable motor and you can get gobs of HP out of it pretty easily. Given this statement however, I wouldn't have chosen the route they chose to get to that 500+ mark.

I would trust it. Del Rio is on of the BT tuning kits for the 225. They are based out of Mexico and it would cost at least twice as much to build one with those numbers from scratch. Sounds like a good deal to me. I dont know that I would trust it as a daily driver but for a track car I would go for it.

dude I love it. Its a sports car but at the same time luxurious and roomy. It hauls ass even with 4 people in the car and is so smooth. I cant complain at all. There were other more expensive options I was lookin at but it was the best decision ive ever made car wise. Every time I wake up in the morning and get into muy car it brings the biggest smile to my face and that my friend is priceless

    I would go this route.

True, but there's not much Audi left in car. Call up and have a talk with the shop who built it, they will probably know the car just as good or better than the owner. Just in parts alone, it's a lot of car for the money.

I would go a different route... but if you are feeling the TT, and all checks out, then go for it.
