Thread: Audi S5 by Sportec

Sportec has revealed its performance upgrade for the Audi S5 quattro coupé and cabriolet using the 3.0 liter supercharged V6 TFSI powerplant.

Labelled ‘Stage One’ the performance enhancement package consists of a free flowing air filter element and an ECU remap. The peak power increased from 328bhp at 6000rpm to 425bhp at 6640rpm, a gain of 97bhp.

Man I just couldn't buy the S5 without the V8. Sportec makes some badass cars though.

i did,
the V8 pretty max'd doesn't have as many tuning capabilities at the 3.0

sportec is over rated, much like MTM.... ridiculously overpriced for what you get...
at least with a company like APR, for arguments sake, every weekend you can watch their supercharged s4 on the speed channel and know that is where their R&D is coming from.

True, if you're going to tune more than just exhaust and aesthetics then the 3.0 would be the way to go.

Then again, if VF Engineering and MTM can supercharge the V8 R8, why not the S5's V8 ?
