Not sure why would DSG be "unsophisticated as an instrument for all-around driving."

I thought they meant that R tronic was "unsophisticated as an instrument for all-around driving."

I think "unsophisticated as an instrument for all-around driving." was referred to the R tronic.

Hopefully VW greenlights an R8 successor. I was worried when it looked like Porsche was gonna take over that they might kill the R8, but hopefully it will live on under VW... with a DSG tranny too.

haha, run from the DSG... my 207 ft./lbs. put a solid beating on it... it is not a solid tranny at all
