Thread: Looking for a R8 GT

Ah okay lol. It sounded like this would be your first car.

Just make sure you test drive the r8 GT. I would recommend that you also test drive a 2009+ gallardo. Pretty much the same thing, but the gallardo will be cheaper. Also get a PPI done.

Don't think too poorly of me but I was going to buy this without a test drive, worst case scenario I have something that I don't like to drive sitting in my drive for my neighbors to be envious of.

Does anyone know of a place that can do the PPI for me in Denver. I am really trying to avoid going out there myself.

uuhh... I'd test drive one before plunking down over 100 grand on a car... if I knew the car, then sure, I could do away without seeing it and doing a PPI. But you're gonna drop cash on a car you may not like and then leave it in your driveway for your neighbors to envy? I stand by my original post...

Yeah I can see that. I have driven an R8 so I dont expect this to be too different and I loved the R8. Should have said this earlier.

Is there someone you guys recommended for transporting the car, preferably someone fast and careful.

This is hopefully the first of many cars to come so I just want to have a good time. I don't think that I am articulating myself well but you kinda get the idea.

I just sent them an email. Thanks for that link, I have seen some posts by them but forgot about them. I fully intend to get one within a couple weeks and I will post tons of pics.

Hmm! Which R8 did you test drive? The V10 you were looking at? I'm assuming the R8 you test drove was R-Tronic? Am I correct? Can I ask what is pulling you more towards the GT over the V10?
