Thread: First Official Pictures Production Aston Martin V12 Zagato

GTspirit.com and the Vienna-based 2SC owner's club have exclusively received the first official pictures of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato production-ready model. The four pictures shared with us follow after a video shot at a special event where 2 Second Club (2SC) was attending the unveiling of the new Aston Martin Zagato racer in Vienna.

The exterior picture resembles the two pictures released by Aston Martin last year showing only the front of the car. The main difference is that we now have a clear look at the rear of the limited sports car, where Zagato and Aston Martin redesigned the exhaust tips, rear diffuser and rear indicator lights. The car maker also added a rear wing to ensure enough downforce. At the sides of the car the open side vents of the racer have been replaced with more modest versions and the silver horizontal line is more prominetent. The plastic racing windows have been replaced by normal road-going versions.

The interior pictures show a design, which is quite similar to the V12 Vantage on which the V12 Zagato is based. Some differences are easily noticeable, such as the signature Zagato badges on the racing seats and the leather wave pattern used for the roof, door panels, seats and in the rear of the interior. You can also see some parts of the roll cage, the carbon fiber seats and the carbon fiber panels used for the center console. There is also a manually transmission. According to our source, the petrol tank is smaller than the racer and similar to the V12 Vantage.
