The difference between a production of 20 and 70 cars is pretty slim. The Mclaren F1 only had roughly 100 every produced and you NEVER see that car driving around.
But your idea on the RnD for this car going into others i imagine is pretty accurate and something i didn't really consider. They will probably only make back around 100 mill back on this car (probably a bit more) but i imagine they spent much more than that in development, not that i have any numbers to back that up.
I do hope to see technology from this car in astons of the future because while i think astons are probably the best looking cars out there their performance doesn't really stack up against the best.BIMMER 4LIFE

Truly a beautiful car with an engine to back it up....I agree on what most said, it's about exclusivity.

Saw one just a couple hours ago here in Paris. In person the One-77 was just insane! Absolutely gorgeous! And that sound...

Haven't seen one in person yet. All the fuss with the one 77 is the exclusivity of their production, unlike the Mclaren its exclusive in numbers and the raw insanity of the vehicle. however, it is a beautiful car despite the fact that their isn't much Punch for me.

The McLaren is far more of a technical tour de force...
the Aston Martin is a true combination of craftsmanship, Top Trumps numbers on the normally aspirated engine, and still retaining a tip of the hat to heritage (hand crafted aluminium panels) combined with new manufacturing methods (carbon fibre tub).

I can't even fathom paying $1 mill for a car....but if forced to do so, I would rather have the one 77 over the Veyron or the Reventon. For some reason, it just seams more "soulful" and "honest" to me than the other two. Maybe because it's N/A, its completly new, and its an Aston...that's just plane cool to me!
But, I think I've said this before on this forum...I would really only spend that money on a historic car; I would be pissed if they made the one 78 in a few years :-/-1971 El Camino: Blueprint Racing 383 stoker/Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed /3:73 Posi/Bench Seat/Lap Belts/Drum Brakes/Kinda’ Rusty
