Thread: RSC Tuning Launching 'Street' OEM Clutch/Flywheel Replacement

Hi Everyone,

As you know we previously developed a clutch & flywheel package which we currently offer for race/track use.

We are going to be launching a new product for the 4.3L V8V around the end of this month which is aimed at street use. Included with this kit will be:

RSC CLUTCH PACKAGE:

* Organic Steel Backed, Sprung, 10.5" Friction Plate
* Rated at 500 ft/lbs Torque

RSC LIGHTWEIGHT FLYWHEEL

* Solid CNC Machined 4140 Steel Flywheel
* Integral Ring Gear

AM SLAVE CYLINDER/RELEASE BEARING
AM FLYWHEEL BOLTS
AM PRESSURE PLATE BOLTS
AM REAR MAIN SEAL
AM TRANSMISSION BOLT

The total price of all of the above parts, but with OEM Clutch Kit and Flywheel is $2884.24. The RSC Kit will be priced at $3495.00 and will include all of the AM parts listed above, or just the RSC Clutch & Flywheel for $3066.00

Overall weight reduction to be confirmed in exact figures, but will be around 1/3 (OEM is 19kg.)

I will be hosting a group buy on the first 5 units, which will activate a 15% discount. First units should be ready to ship mid-August, with 2-3 weeks lead time thereafter, so for those of you who know you're due for a clutch job soon, might be a prudent buy to have this ready to go.
