Default Put in an offer for a Vantage!

I put an offer down for a 2008 4.3L V8 Vantage yesterday after test driving it. Black, black interior, 40,000 km, sportshift transmission. Dealer said he can let me have it for $80,000 + $3,600 for one year warranty + tax (5%). Comes out to $87,780. I'm going to put in an offer again today that I'll take the at that price but they have to do the 3M protection for me. I'm just waiting on the phone call so see if they accept. Hopefully they do.

And oh yea, I'm buying this instead of the R8 because I ran into problems with the delivery of the car so I decided to cancel the entire transaction. It was too big of a hassle.

Cars in Canada, especially in Alberta (where I live), are a lot more expensive than the ones in the US even though the dollar is the same. They haven't changed the prices really and on top of that, if I were to get a car from the US, I would have to pay 11.1% tax (5% provincial tax and 6.1% tax because the car is not made in North America). And then there is the issue of shipping and actually going down to check out the car before the sale. All put together the price difference isn't really that substantial. And I really need to get a new car so I don't mind spending a little extra.
