Actually I know about this. The cars were bought for a family in middle east. I think all family members are getting one.

I'd say, it's a good thing. Means at least one of them will be driven, and not stuck in a garage. I mean, I bet at least half of them are only buying them to add to their collection - and that's it. Aston Martin put everything into this car, why let it collect dust?
And anyway, I'm sure Aston Martin is already thinking about their next car to follow this.

I realize wealth and charity of that success is 100% relative. However it's kinda ironic to me that these insane middle-east wealthy beyond nuts category individuals don't get dogged on more for not giving back to charity. I'm sure they give a lot (call this judgemental) but probably mostly to their own country...however why is it Americans that are always expected to give the most and ragged on when we don't give enough. To me buying one of each of these for your ten family members, fine and dandy, but to hang one on the wall???? Give the 1.4 mil to feed some mouths instead of doing some pointless shit like that.

I think buying the car to use as art in a home is a better idea than spending 100 million+ on a sculpture.
