At first sight I was not all too impressed with the LFA, but it has actually grown on me other than the price tag. The engine sound is up there with the best and the car is quite exclusive so it does have that over other competitors.

Sorry but I had to say it.
I would have to disagree with you in this one. Overpriced, doubtfully as alot of technology has gone into making this car and that Lexus brought it up from nothing. Unperforming; I would disagree aswell as the Nurburgring edition posts better official track numbers around that track than any other production vehicle avaliable worldwide except for the Gumpert Apollo S. I must agree that the sound is brilliantly done, apparently it was sent to an audio studio to be refined.

I would have to disagree with you on this one. Overpriced, compared to other cars in it's category that perform at a much higher degree at nearly half the price... Underperforming; I would agree. A 2012 GTR is faster than the LFA in 1/4 mile and around a track. This is not the Nurburgring LFA though, it's just the regular LFA which get's schooled by almost everything in it's category, and the GTR. The LFA Ring edition should be the only edition of this car, because it runs respectable times. But the standard LFA is a big disappointment. Maybe if it was ~$200k it'd be fine, and the LFA Ring at $400k, but standard LFA at $400k, way overpriced.

the sound is intoxicating, but it still looks like a Supra on steroids...and twice the price of a 458 italia? or a lambo gallardo? and over 3 times as much as the GTR? and all 3 of these are arguably better cars...200k and it may be worth it...right now its a "hey look what i can afford" kinda car. but that sound, oh god that sound!...

Check this vid out. It's the behind the scenes of the famous commercial. Pretty neat!
